Speaker and Exhibitor Workshops

At each of NTHEN’s two annual conferences, attendees are provided with the opportunity to hear from speakers whose Keynote messages, or messages specifically for the new Homeschooling family, or messages of product updates will keep you encouraged and informed. NTHEN’s 2011 Conference Program of Speakers and Exhibitor Workshops is available for review by clicking HERE. Remember to check back frequently as there often are changes and additions to this listing in the final weeks prior to the conference.

 Used Book Sale Logo

For full information on selling your used materials at this pre-conference activity, or for buying items that will be offered for sale, click here.

Our Children's Program has been designed and developed by NTHEN for the purpose of not only providing a safe place for your kiddo's while you shop and attend various speaking sessions, but to use that time to share the Gospel through a variety of fun and engaging activities that are age appropriate for children ranging in age from 2-12. Food Service

The Plano Centre now has a requirement that only food purchased from their authorized in-house caterer can be consumed on their premises. No food from any other source may be brought into the conference center. We recommend and strongly encourage you to NOT bring food from home.

Due to the above Plano Centre policy, NTHEN has made arrangements for you to purchase a box lunch (prepared by the Plano Centre caterer) at a discounted rate of $10.00 per box lunch per day. NTHEN will subsidize the remaining $5.60 for the cost of the box lunch as our way of thanking you for attending the conference and bookfair.  However, you must reserve your box lunch(s) when you pre-register and a place has been created on the on-line pre-registration form for you to do so.

The box lunch meal will consist of a sandwich (turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese plus various condiments), pasta salad, deli chips, cookie, soft drink or a bottle of water, and a mint.

Box lunches will be available for you to purchase for both Friday and Saturday and will be available for pick up each day at a designated location within the conference center between 11:00a.m. and 2:00p.m.

Box lunches may not be available when registering At-The-Door.

NTHEN encourages all attendees to avail themselves of this new service we are providing, which is reasonably priced and will help you conserve and make the best use of your time while at the conference and bookfair. Besides, WHO WANTS TO GO OUT IN 105 DEGREE HEAT FOR LUNCH!!!

Detailed contact information on exhibitors will be found on this web site under "Conference" and in the Conference Program & Directory.

Conference Attire

Attire for all conference sessions is casual/business casual. The average temperature in Dallas in August is 91 degrees with lows in the 70’s. However, outside temps for the week of the event, and for the days of tthis conference are expeceted to be 107 to 110 degrees!! Rain is not common at this time of year but the weather can be fickle, so, be prepared and remember that old Texas saying, “If you don’t like the weather in Texas today, stick around until tomorrow because it probably will change”! Nevertheless, we recommend that you bring a sweater or light jacket just in case it turns cool or in the event the AC in the Plano Centre gets cranked waaaaaaay down!
